Ballet

Once a quarter is "watch week" at Mckenna's dance studio.  I was surprised that Mckenna was not as excited about watch week as I was :)!  I loved being able to watch Mckenna and let me tell you - she is a good dancer!!!

Ball Girl

Kiara's soccer team (which is undefeated by the way :)) got to be the ball girls during the Strongsville girls high school soccer game.  Kiara and her team were SO excited and they did a great job!

 

The t-shirts they were given were a little big.  Kiara wore her shirt to school the next day as well (with a tie in the side so it wasn't so long).

Mckenna loves going to these games as much as Kiara.  You can see how excited Mckenna is to be there!

Yellow Day

At Ava's preschool, she has a color of the week and this week is yellow.  Ava didn't have a yellow shirt and it was difficult for her to understand that it doesn't have to be a yellow shirt, it could be a shirt that has yellow in it (haha).  So we went to Mckenna's closet and we found a yellow shirt.  Ava put it on, looked down and said "It is like a dress!" 

 

She was so excited to leave for preschool that Tom took her early :)! So happy that she is happy and loves her school!

Kiara's 9th Birthday

I never understood the whole "time flies" saying until Kiara got into school.  Since starting Kindergarten, time has gone so fast and I cannot believe that she is 9 years old.  When we go check on her at night when she is asleep, she doesn't look like a little girl.  She looks big and beautiful and so grown up.  She is now officially 9 years old (going on 15 - yikes) and had a very fun birthday month!  Here are some of the fun things she did!

The celebrations began with and fun early surprise party for Kiara when Gram was in town!

 

Kiara took 10 friends to the "girl store" so make pillows!

 

After the party, Kiara invited two girls, Kylie and Kayla, to go to the strongsville high school girls soccer game.  We had pizza, gatorade, chocolate chip cookies, and rice krispie treats!  This was definitely a highlight for Kiara!

 

We had a fun family celebration and are so fortunate for all the love she received in the mail and through the phone :)!!

Dr. Ava's 3 year old check up

 

The past month or so, Ava has referred to herself as Doctor Ava and has demanded that we call her that as well.  A few of our friends call her that also and are sweet enough to say they have a hurt knee or something so Dr. Ava can help them! :).  Ava had a her 3 year old check up a few days ago and it was so wonderful to see Dr. Cutter.  Dr. Cutter has been there at the beginning with Ava and has taken to Ava just as much as everyone else has!

Dr. Cutter was so pleased with how Ava is doing and only had good things to say!  Great job Dr. Ava!!
