Indoor Amusement Park - 4th time
It is an odd way to mark our time in Ohio but in the first month after we moved, we went to an indoor amusement park. We have gone every year since and this year was our 4th time. *I wonder the next place we move how our years will be marked :). Gram was in town for our 4th time and it was great to have her with us!
Ava wasn't tall enough to ride on most of the rides. Kiara and Mckenna were very kind to ride on this train about 6 times with Ava!
The Dragon Roller Coaster!
Kiara and Mckenna in the front and Gram and Ava behind them. Ava was hilarious! She looked the first time around and then put her hands over her eyes and curled up next to Gram for the next 2 times around. She did not want to go on the ride again :)!
Thanks for the Pony rides Gram! The girls LOVED this!
We have always passed over the petting zoo but it was actually really fun. Ava and Mckenna really enjoyed it.
Daddy with the girls waiting for the Carousel.
Thank goodness Gram was here to go on this ride with Kiara! It went straight up (pretty slowly) so Gram and Kiara were facing the ground and then fell really fast back down. No thank you...... Kiara loved it!
Ava couldn't ride most of the rides but she figured out how to play the carnival games really quickly :). Happy girl with her prize!
Here are the prizes that they each picked out.
Going on the train again!
After the carnival we came back to our house for snow cones!
What a fun day!
Gram's Visit
We love it when Gram comes to visit!!!! She came in on a Tuesday and we went straight to Mckenna's gymnastics class. Mckenna kept looking over at Gram during the class, it was pretty cute to see how excited she was about Gram watching her! We all had so much fun during the week she was here. Below are some of the pictures that we took.....
We kept Kiara out of school for a day and after we picked up Mckenna from Kindergarten, we went to Olive Garden for lunch!
Every morning, the girls went into Gram's room to spend time with her. They LOVE this time playing, watching shows, playing games on the IPad & IPod, and reading. I love this time because I get to sleep in a little longer than usual!
There is a mall about 30 min from our house that we call the Disney Store Mall. We don't go to this mall very often but the girls love it!
This mall has a train that drives around the whole mall. Here are the girls about to go on the ride!
They picked a car to ride on that they all could fit in :).
At doodle bugs on Friday, it was Easter day. Gram got to be there to see how much this little girl loves her class!
Ava showing us her Easter Bunny she made.
We got the babysitters for a night and enjoyed some adult time out!!
I mentioned that the girls loved their morning time with Gram. One morning they piled up stuffed animals all around them and the bed.
The girls and I had been doing puzzles for a few weeks and putting in the "piano room" for a puzzle museum. We kept doing puzzles the week that Gram was here and ended the visit with the puzzle museum!
Five Guys lunch to end Grams trip!

Draft
*I am a little behind on our blog but wanted to post a few about yesterday and today. So I will backtrack when I have a chance to get caught up :)!
Tom flew to New York on Wednesday to be on the receiving end of the phone for the NFL draft. In the past Tom has been on the phone to give the draft picks to the people in New York. This is a first for him and I think he is enjoying it! We knew there was a chance for him to be on TV but I really wasn't expecting to see him for such a long period of time.

Here he is!!! Thanks Jeff for this great picture.
The girls watching their Daddy!
The Browns pick was around 9pm. Kiara and Mckenna were in bed, trying to fall asleep and I knew if I showed them Daddy on TV they would have even a harder time falling asleep. So I taped it and this morning we went downstairs to watch it. On the way, Mckenna put on Tom's Browns hat and said "I am ready!!" Hahahaha
Ben Towne Foundation Friday
While getting dressed this morning, Mckenna said she wanted to wear her Ben Towne Foundation T-Shirt (thank you BT for sending these to the kids). Once she said she wanted to wear hers, it didn't take long for Kiara and Ava to want to wear theirs as well. So we got dressed and then named today Ben Towne Foundation Friday. After this decision, there were many, many "WE LOVE YOU BEN" shouts throughout our house. Always in our hearts and minds.....;..
Cowgirl
It was Cowgirl day at Doodle Bugs and this little girl LOVED it! Truth is, she is such a happy girl and she always loves Doodle Bugs.

Other Happenings....
Tired girls after soccer practice!
Ava during Library time!
During Ava's nap, Mckenna and I have homework time. There are always treats involved and I love this time with her!
Ava must not have slept this day. Cuties!
Doodle Bugs!
Happy girl playing peak-a-boo and Doodle Bugs!
Bath time!
Aunt Heather and Emily sent this really sweet gift to the girls!!
Kiara made this car and yes that is a roof top carrier on top! Hahaha
Bon Jovi
In the 3 years we have lived in Ohio, we have not been to a concert. A couple of our friends here asked if we wanted to go see Bon Jovi and even though Tom and I are not big fans we knew that it would be a good time. We went to dinner downtown and a bunch of people from Tom's work met us as well for drinks and dinner before the concert.
Our dinner spot.
Our seats were far away but a great view!
A fun night!

Ava's First Haircut
It was time. Ava needed an official haircut. I had trimmed the back of her hair about 6 months ago, but she needed the real deal. She was SO serious :) and of course a very good girl!
Such a big girl!!
The girls got their haircuts too and then headed to mini golf with Tom while Ava and I did a little shopping. The invited a friend to come along with us.
Cute haircuts and a very fun friend :)!
A couple of good pictures
I went home to visit my dad in February when he was recovering from his hip replacement. I got to see all of the Headlee's and the Towne's but not a lot of pictures were taken. I do have a couple of good ones I wanted to share!
Look at these sweet nephews I have!! I am a VERY lucky Aunt!
It was hard to keep Aden still for a photo - but look how great this one turned out!!
I was so glad to be home and spend some time with my dad and what a bonus to get to see all my brothers as well!
