Happy Halloween!

On Friday, Mckenna had her Halloween party at school.  I volunteered for the party and loved being with her for her party!!

My little Bee and her friends.
Mckenna's class getting ready for their performance!

Kiara had her Halloween party today and I got to help with her party as well!
The school has a parade to start and then back inside for classroom parties.
Halloween Bingo, treats, Halloween Charades, and a Halloween word search to end the party!  I loved being in Kiara's classroom with her (and she loved me being with her as well - got to love that :))!!

Halloween Night!  This was my first experience with face painting.  What I didn't count on was that as I was   painting Kiara's face, Mckenna would think it looked fun and would want her face painted as well.

Here they are: the bee and the clown!  I tried to get a side view to capture MC's face painting but it is hard to see.

Trick or Treating in Strongsville begins at 6.  Here are the girls answering the door at 6, while I got the stroller ready for us to head out.

Here we go!!!  It was sunny out and not horribly cold when we began.  We went around the block and by the time we got back, the sun had gone down and it got cold quickly.  We stopped back at our house to warm up.

To the right of Mckenna is our fabulous babysitter, Rebecca.  She came by at 7 with a couple of her friends to pick up Kiara and Mckenna for a little more trick or treating.  I asked her if she could do this because I knew it was going to be really cold and hard for Ava to be out as long as Kiara and Mckenna wanted to be.    The girls had a blast.  When Tom got home he asked what the girls favorite part of the night was and Mckenna said "trick or treating with the babysitters!".

Ava and I hanging out in the warm house!

It didn't take Ava long to figure out people were coming to the door.  Ava waiting for the next group.

A look at the walkway up to the front door.

Happy Halloween!!!!

BTW - Ava is walking!!!

Library Card

For Kiara's birthday, she really wanted her own library card.  We tried to get one for her but she needed to be there to sign for it.  It has taken a while (we have been a little busy), but this week Kiara got her own library card!

SO EXCITED!!

We had just gotten back from the library and I told the girls to go find something to do while I got dinner ready.  It was pretty quiet, so I went to see what they were doing and this is what I found.

I love my girls (and the library)!!

Pee Wee Chefs

On Tuesday's, Mckenna Kay is in a class at the Rec Center called Pee Wee Chefs.  She loves it!  This picture was taken on sack lunch day.  Mckenna was so proud!
Here is her sack lunch.  Sun Chips, ham sando, applesauce, apple juice, and cookies.
Mckenna holding up her favorite part of the lunch she made.

She has 1 more class next week and they will be making desserts!  The classes so far have been; Chex Mix, Breakfast (waffles & bacon), Sack Lunch, and Dinner (mac & cheese, sloppy joes, veges and dip).  Every week after class she says "that went by so fast!"  I guess that means she likes it.

My Uncles and My Aunt

Mckenna loved to refer to Craig, Rob, and Allison as my Uncles and my Aunt.  "My uncles and my Aunt are visiting"  "My Uncles and my Aunt are staying with me."  Or yesterday "I loved having my Uncles and my Aunt visit but I am sad they had to leave."

They arrived late Thursday night and of course we stayed up late catching up.  On Friday Rob and Craig were UNBELIEVABLE.  They woke up in time to see Kiara and Mckenna off to school.  I was prepared to and would have been able to explain that it is 5 am in Seattle but it was AWESOME that I didn't have to. Kiara had Browns day at school and Mckenna had Orange day, so they were pretty proud to show off the fun things they get to do in school.
Friday night Rob made pizza with the girls. They had a blast and it was so good!!

After pizza we carved pumpkins.  Mckenna loved gutting the pumpkins and Kiara was able to do the whole thing by herself (she just needed help getting the pieces out of the pumpkin).  Kiara's is on the left and Mckenna's (and Allison's) is on the right!

Saturday was a very busy day.  Soccer games for both Kiara and Mckenna.  Circus at the Q for the whole crew and a Halloween party that night.  I don't have any pics of soccer but I do have great pics of the circus and the party.......

Craig, Kiara, and Robby!

The Ringling Bros put on a pretty good show.

Kiara was practically sitting on Rob's lap watching the show and asking a million questions.

Same goes with Uncle Craig.

WOW........
Pregnant Snooki, Pauly D, Toddler Eating Shark, Spartan Cheerleaders.

Someone Tom works with had a Halloween party and it was a blast.  We stayed for couple of hours but  had to get back for the Coug game.  Another very fun night as well as another late night.

Allison's costume was perfect!

On Sunday Tom, Rob, and Craig left for Browns stadium around 10.  I love Football Sundays!

Allison spent some special time with Kiara in the morning and when they got back, Allison made cupcakes with Kiara and Mckenna.  They were (and still are) so good!  I have put a mini cupcake in Kiara's lunch every day this week.

Allison painting the girls nails!

The Browns beat the Seahawks!!  It wasn't a very pretty game but the outcome was GREAT!  When the guys got home we had dinner and then had a little celebration for Craig's birthday.  Rob and Allison picked up an Ice Cream cake, so we enjoyed the ice cream cake and cupcakes!
Another great weekend!  Next up for Rob and Allison - BABY!!! Baby Headlee is due the end of January and Kiara and Mckenna are so excited to have a baby cousin on the way.  Rob and Allison are going to be amazing parents, I can't wait to meet our new niece or nephew!  Next up for Craig - planning another trip to Ohio :)!!!!!  Craig's birthday is today - HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE CRAIG!  You are truly the BEST!

Jeff, Carin, and Ryan

Jeff, Carin, and Ryan arrived in Ohio around 3pm on Friday afternoon.  We were all SO excited to see them!  The girls and I picked them up from the airport and headed back to our house.  It was a whirlwind weekend filled with soccer, playing, jumping on the trampoline, legos, food, football, and a lot of fun.

These two were pretty inseparable for the weekend.  This was my favorite conversation between the two of them that happened numerous times.
Ryan: "Mckenna, do you want to go downstairs with me?"
Mckenna: "SURE!!"

We headed to the Browns facility for a tour.
Uncle Jeff had the kids running plays on the outdoor field.  Hilarious!!
Picking a seat in the meeting room.
Painting Pumpkins!

My favorite part of the weekend was lego city.  In the past year, all of our lego sets have come apart.   Tom, Jeff, and Kiara put back together every one of the sets.  Ryan and Mckenna helped and played along side.  Jeff and Ryan - next time you are here, we will probably be ready for you to rebuild them yet again :)!

On Sunday we rooted on the Browns for Football Sunday.  It wasn't the best game but the Browns sure have some awesome fans!!!

It was a great weekend.  Mckenna, Ava, and I took them to the airport around 11 on Monday.  When Kiara got home from school that afternoon the girls were moping around the house, so I piled everyone in the car and we headed to Toys R Us to get something little for Ryan for such a great weekend.  It cheered them up and we had fun "discussing" what he would like the most.   Thanks JT, Carin, and Ryan for making such a long trek to come to Ohio to hang with us. We love you!

Brown Day

Every Friday at Mckenna's preschool she is supposed to dress in the color of the week and bring something of that color to share with the class.  She did not have show and tell last year, so she has been so excited to bring something every week to share.  Last week the color of the week was brown.  Preparing for what to wear on Friday was a no brainer.

These are Mckenna's brown friends that she chose to share with the class.  She has a very good friend, Lauren who loves Pet Shop as much as Mckenna.  Whenever the girls get together for a playdate they spend hours playing Pet Shop.  The two of them have brought Pet Shop for show and tell the last couple of weeks.

Here are Lauren and Mckenna a few days ago on our trampoline.  They have so much fun together and the bonus is that I really like her mom :)!

Back to brown day.  Mckenna was pumped up to wear Browns gear to school.

Here is Mckenna with her friend Austin rocking their Browns gear for brown day at school.
