Some good pics to share that are not worthy of a post. I realize that most of these are Ava but we get extra time with her and well, she is really fun to be with!
Kiara had an assignment at school to make a family tree. There were not a lot of requirements or restrictions but Kiara wanted to make hers "stand out" in her class. Well, stand out she did! We googled family tree ideas and put some ideas together to create hers.
The first thing she did was draw and then paint a tree on the paper. After completing the tree, she typed out every ones name and picture to put them on her tree. All the family trees got displayed in her classroom and she was so proud of hers! And received a 40/40!
Almost every time I went to Spokane with Tom to visit Grandma and Grandpa Klepper, we played Yahtzee! This is one of my favorite memories with them. The games were competitive, and hilarious! Counting the pennies that were owed at the end of a game and the wonderful quote "I am not scratching my Yahtzee!!" Kiara got this game for Christmas and our family has had a great time playing it as well. For Tom and I, it has been fun to talk to the girls about the games and fun times with had with Great Grandma and Grandpa Klepper.
Girl Scouts puts on the most amazing Father/Daughter Dance every year and these three have SO much fun! They get dressed up, head out the door, and dance their little booties off! I love that my girls have a Dad that makes these events so much fun for them!
Don't the girls look beautiful?!? And my husband looks pretty good too :)!
Getting ready for some dancing!
Ava wanted her picture as well. She was pretty upset when they left. Pretty soon Ava - you will get to go to a dance with your Daddy as well!
Kiara had her second Discovery Quest last month. For her topic, she choose Color. Kiara spent a lot of time researching color, checking out books from the library on her topic, and doing color experiments. This project was a lot of fun for the whole family. We feel pretty lucky that we do not have to make Kiara work on things like this. She loved every part of this project (except writing the speech :)) and did not need a lot of help. On her presentation day, we took Mckenna out of school early and we all went to her class to watch her present. She did a GREAT job! We are so proud of this girl!
I have not gone sledding yet this year (Ava does not like to be cold and the temps have been unusually low this winter) but Tom has taken Kiara and Mckenna a few times.
Parades, Talent Shows, Decorations, Dancing, Games, good food, Dress up, Face Time, Snow, Sledding, Snuggles, and Celebrations in Ann Arbor with Steven, Heather, Emily (4), and Avery (1)!
I am not sure what has been going on in our lives that has kept me from our blog for the past couple of months. Maybe I just needed a break. Well, break is over and I am ready to get back into it. Here are a couple of good pictures to share while I work on some other posts.
Kiara went to a hocky game with some friends and looked so old before walking out our door.
Mckenna wearing some new pants that Grandma and Grandpa sent. She wears these as much as possible!
Ava posing before heading out the door for Preschool.
