Winter Activities

 

Kiara is #2

Kiara has been playing indoor soccer with her travel team all winter. 

The first session they played in the 9 year old B division and won the majority of the games.

The second session, the coaches decided to move them up to play in the 9 year old A division and it has been pretty brutal.  These girls are only 8 and the top 9 year old teams are A LOT better than they are.  They have still competed and of course had fun but we are excited to begin their regular outdoor season next month.

 

 

Every week Kiara looks forward to Sundays for her games. 

It is fun to have her enjoying a sport has much as she has!

Mckenna began gymnastics a few weeks ago and LOVES it.

She is doing it with 3 other girls from her Kindergarten class.  I cannot believe in the few weeks she has been doing this how close she now is to doing the splits.

 

 

We will see if this sticks for her, but for right now she is having a blast!

And she looks pretty cute doing it!!!

HMMMMMMM

We went over to a friends house for pizza and beer (for the adults) and this was Ava's favorite spot in the house.  While Kiara, Mckenna, and their 2 girls played, Ava did this.  She was in and out of this cage all night!  We don't need a dog......... just a cage :)!

Auntie Anne's

Mckenna's girl scout troup has planned a lot of fun activities for the girls.  It is a great group of really sweet girls.  This week they had a tour of Auntie Anne's at the mall and learned how to make a pretzel.  

 

 

 Happy girl!

The tour lasted a half hour and then they each got a pretzel and drink to enjoy!

 

Kiara got to participate too which is a very nice bonus. 

The week before Kiara got asked by the leaders to help with the girls when they got a tour of the fire station.  To help in a leadership role is very fun for her!

 

Girl Scouts was something we got Kiara into because we were having trouble meeting other girls and moms when we first moved here.  It has turned out to be so much more than that for both Kiara and Mckenna!
